About Me

I started playing drums aged 12 years old and joined my first band aged 16. Around this time I went to Access to Music in Norwich and completed a Level 2 and a Level 3 Performing Musician course, qualifying with a Distinction in both courses. After this I went to the British Academy of New Music in London where I studied for a Music Educators Diploma.

Upon completion of my studies I worked as a Drum tutor for The Rock and Pop Foundation before venturing out on my own as a freelance Drum tutor where I worked at Old Catton Junior school, White Woman Lane Junior school, Frettenham primary and Kinsale junior school for 3 years.

I now focus my drum lessons exclusively on home visits.

I have been the drummer in Rock band Escaping Today since 2018, check us out at https://escapingtoday.co.uk/

My favourite drummers are Jimmy Chamberlin, Matt Cameron, Dave Grohl, Stewart Copeland, John Bonham and Buddy Rich.
